Grad School Application Instructions

Application Requirements

The DEADLINE TO APPLY for Graduate School is February 1st. Please note that the graduate school recommends that application materials be in no later than 6 weeks prior to the departmental deadline in order to ensure processing documents on time.

To be considered for unconditional admission to the graduate program in Speech Pathology, all applicants must have at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA and a minimum score of 1000 on the GRE or 50 on the MAT. In certain cases, applicants with test scores below these minima may be considered for conditional admission. This means that the student must earn an average of B or better in the first 12 semester hours of work completed. If the 12 hours are completed in a term in which the total credits exceed 12, the evaluation is made on the basis of all graduate-level work completed at the end of that term of enrollment.
