Claire January is a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Supervisor at the University of Alabama. She began her career in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before returning to Alabama. She has experience working in outpatient clinic, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, hospital, and school settings. She provides supervision for undergraduate and graduate clinicians providing pediatric and adult therapy for articulation disorders, language delays/disorders, fluency disorders, social communication disorders, voice disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, and augmentative/alternative communication strategies. She is a bilingual SLP, providing adult and pediatric services in both English and Spanish. She is certified in a variety of treatment specialties, including LSVT LOUD™, LSVT LOUD for LIFE™, PEERS for Young Adults®, SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding, and VitalStim® NMES. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama (SHAA).
